An Excellent Podcast on Marketing
For any active marketers or any interested in that field, this podcast would be a great addition to your audio library. Marketing guru Cameron Reilly and his apprentice, Ray Harris, explore the complex process Alexander and his successors utilized in deciding how to best name the numerous great cities they founded from Europe to Asia. Listen close as your hosts guide you through the byzantine process Alexander used to decide what to call his more than 70 Alexandrias. Firms and experts beyond count were consulted by Alexander to find the perfect name that extolled the unique traits of each Alexandria. Only on occasion do tangents stray into the orgy of murder, sex and war that surrounded the founding of each city. But fear not, the hosts never tarry long on those drab subjects before they return to the good stuff. This is well worth a listen. And if you can't get enough, they have other marketing podcasts using examples from the life of Julius Caesar, WWII, Napoleon, The Cold War, and a newer one called the BS filter in which they seek to filter the bs many in marketing learn today. Check them all out and learn how to forge your own empire in marketing!Read full review »

Ray and Cam, the hosts of the Life of Caesar podcast, have struck gold here. Though their Midas Touch precludes their self-pleasure, they provide a lot of funny bone stroking for their listeners. But this podcast is so much more than just a combination of history and humor. The hosts provide...Read full review »
