Painfully slow and uninformed
Listened to the episode about The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa. Literally sat through more than 30 minutes of babble about these women's personal lives, other books they've read and movies they've watched before even mentioning the book in question. When they finally got around to it, the comments made me wonder if they even read it. "I have no idea what I just read," and so on. Well, then what makes you qualified to do a podcast about it? One woman remarked that the book reminded some of George Orwell's 1984 and the other woman replied, "Well, I've never read that, so I wouldn't know." This podcast is out of this world! So much fun and if you love books then I definitely recommend!

Love listening in on two friends talking about books and the premise of making the other read the book they chose for them, provides plenty of fodder for “lively” conversations (aka vehement disagreements).

:)
This was a very fun podcast to listen to! My only critique is that they spoil the book without alerting listeners, and it takes a while to actually start talking about the book. Other than that, super fun and cute!!
