Very smart. Very funny. Very easy to listen to multiple episodes on end. I love how thorough they are in topics, entertaining and educational.

Omg this is such an awesome podcast. After listening to the Richard Simmons two parter I had to start from the beginning of this pod and binge it! And as a woman approaching 60 and a past disordered eater and body dysmorphic these episodes are like the story of my life. I just love you two!

Aubrey and Michael are rays of sunlight making this world brighter by illuminating truth. This podcast has given me so much information about the lies I’ve been told my whole life. They tell the truth about how the world treats fat people, how systems make it worse and about how being thin is...Read full review »

I look forward to listening to Aubrey and Mike every month! They have given me a new and much needed perspective on diet culture and fat phobia, and I always learn and laugh along with them. This is the best podcast.

Great listen. Love these people.

I love this show so much, and I always learn loads. Live your life in such a way that Michael Hobbes never has cause to investigate your methodology, that’s all I’m saying 😂

The sugar episode was done purely, with selective sources, and emotionally based on the host mom’s weight issues experience. As a parent for two kids with ADHD, I’m well experienced with sugar effects on my kids behaviour. Our body needs way less sugar than what the average American consume, so...Read full review »

It is very rare that you run across a pod that manages to be incredibly funny but also succeeds I reshaping your understanding on a lot of issues. These two are so fun, thoughtful, and adept at wielding their journalistic research skills to undermine some of the most toxic preconceptions of our...Read full review »

I love this show, Aubrey is so kind and empathetic and I’ve been a fan of Michael’s work for a while. It’s funny and engaging, emotionally impactful, and the editing kind of ruins other podcasts for me it’s so good.

I think I’ve listened to every episode about a dozen times now. I have an intensely co-dependent para-social relationship with Aubrey and Mike and it’s not going to get weird or whatever but I love them. 🥰

So smart, so funny. I’ve listened to the whole catalogue at least twice. Adding: and thank you THANK YOU for these episodes about the ongoing trans panic we’re experiencing. As a trans person with a very trans family, I don’t think I could bring myself to dig this deeply into what’s going on by...Read full review »

I love both hosts. It doesn’t really bother me when they do episodes about calories and/or exercise and say that those are not really important (I think they are.) What bothers me is the constant talk of fat shaming. Fat shaming ABSOLUTELY exists, but when they talk about it constantly and...Read full review »

It was one of my favorites! Maybe one needs to be a gen-xer to appreciate this back door look into Ed. I even bought a tattered hardback of Martinis and Whipped Cream: The Carbo-Cal Way to Lose Weight and Stay Slim on Amazon. This era of crack-pot diets is my favorite.

Wonderful story. I smiled (and did my happy meatball stretches) the whole episode. Thanks for bringing Richard Simmons to us so beautifully.

I love this podcast so much I listened to all the free episodes in just over 2 weeks then binged all the paid episodes over the course of a month. Among some of the most unscientific and deeply unfunny rubbish I’ve ever had the distinct lack of pleasure to listen to. Deeply misinformed.

Nothing but a leftist podcast with quite a few curse words thrown in. Just trying to pass their views onto the listeners. Not neutral at all.

I wish I could give it a 3.5… I’ll echo many other reviews on saying that the pod had a strong start but has gone a bit off the rails. There’s a decent amount of bias, and the hosts will often say “we don’t care if YOU do xyz” but… it’s pretty clear they do. The show makes amazing points and...Read full review »

What's up with the unsupported suggestion of the right wingedness of Pete Evans ? I don't even like him (mostly cause he's just annoying) but do you equate being anti-facist and anarchist as libertarian and therefore right wing? Very establishment-liberal take. (Aka true centrist)Read full review »

But alas, me so poor. But I love these two and this podcast has quite literally opened my eyes to weight issues, both my own and the way we talk about and treat those who are overweight and underweight. Weight… it doesn’t matter like you thought you did.

I literally squeal a little when a new episode drops! It’s like Christmas. Informative, funny and well researched but also just two lovely humans making things a little better for others. I met Aubrey IRL and she was the kindest most thoughtful person. Much love - Leanne UK

I love everything about this show. The hosts make me laugh and are honestly like comfort food to me! Ha! I really used to adore this podcast and would recommend it to everyone, but if Michael wanted to keep making You’re Wrong About, the show already exists. He left that show to make this one. I’ve tried several times to listen to this podcast and each time I end up unfollowing. At the start, I loved this podcast about health and wellness. When it shifted to other topics, I lost interest and, with a paywall now, that seals the deal. Oh well, it was amazing while it lasted.
