Give this surprisingly awesome podcast a listen!
I'm 26, and male. I never watched Oprah, but I remember seeing my mom watch the show. So why did I want to listen to something I'm not really connected to in my own past? Because Oprah is still an amazing woman with an amazing story, and that's what this podcast helps to convey. You don't have to know anything more about Oprah than I do (or did) to find this podcast to be well scripted and told with great enthusiasm. I look forward to more! I loved this series from top to bottom. The host, a Black woman who grew up adoring Oprah, deftly plumbs the story of Oprah's rise, and it's so, so good.
