This is a very good horror podcast! (Some spoilers)
Malevolent is a wonderfully done podcast. The writing is fantastic, calling back to the authors of eldritch horror from the early 20th century. The atmosphere is positively dripping with unseen menage and barely-contained terror. The editing, sound design, and production are top-notch. Arthur, a private detective in 1920's New England, wakes up and finds himself with a new partner. The two have to figure out how to work together so that they can figure out how the two were paired up and if they can be separated. There's flashbacks, eldritch horrors, occult activity, and strange coincidences. And a few chuckles along the way. The following is my one complaint about the show and contains a pretty big spoiler: ***SPOILER*** Arthur wakes up with an entity (later named John) in his head and in control of Arthur's eyes (Arthur still controls his body), so John needs to describe things and tell Arthur where things are. The going is obviously slow for Arthur, but there are instances where they are in trouble and John tells Arthur to "MOVE! NOW!" Arthur can't see and doesn't always know where things are, but (so far) manages to move exactly where he needs to go. I find this one particular thing to be irksome. ***END SPOILERS***Read full review »

Can never wait til the next episode comes out. It reminds me of and would probably make an awesome video game with the different choices & vivid narration.
