I have only listened to a few episodes so far and have already gained tips. Thank you for doing this. I love this Podcast. I get so excited listening when I am driving my speed increases. Mark and James are great hosts and interviewers passionate about writing and self-publishing. From the first episode I listened to, I was hooked. Love the guests and info but wish there was less banter from James and Mark at the beginning and end of the show. Would also like to see Mark work on not interrupting his guests, particularly women; I was cringing listening to the Marie Force interview.

Great interviews , great commentary, super helpful! I like Fridays anyway but enjoy them even more because of this knowledgeable podcast. Mark Dawson is incredbly generous with his knowledge James Blatch is a great interviewing and listening to his progress as an Indy author is hugely inspiring.

Once the episodes get rolling they are fine. Sadly, the first 10 minutes is just back and forth chit about mind numbing nothingness. Circular talk about what the episode will be about. I get it. Sometimes I also have nothing to say…but why not skip that part?

I’ve been listening for a year and have learned much about self-pubbing. I’ve got several books done and am using their bits of wisdom to promote. Thanks!

Every Thursday, I set out on my daily walk with the latest Mark and James’ podcast. The podcasts and the SPF courses I’ve done, combined with the very helpful and supportive Facebook SPF community, have been like a degree in indie-publishing for me. I found my people!

It’s bad enough that the first fifteen minutes are just rambling, but how can anyone hit publish with that dreadful sound.

For me, I find the interviewers ego too obvious unfortunately especially in Vickys interview, he’s almost too keen to counter with his own story, anecdote or knowledge. I wish he would just step back a bit and let the interviewers talk more. He often steers conversations to his preferred agenda...Read full review »

This was such a helpful episode. I have not heard Karen in awhile and she had a lot of new content. BTW, since you were counting James Blatch(s), one recently joined ALLi. Was that the SPF James Blatch, the Australian, or maybe a Third one running around? Love the show!

This podcast, in my opinion, is the single best resource for learning how to self-publishing.
