I can’t even explain how important what these guys are doing for socialism.

Fun hosts but you will constantly be adjusting the volume when one randomly blows out your ear drums on a very based rant

If you want an example of a correct reading and analysis, at least this short one on”Alienation of Labor”, then go to the Revleft pods. But don’t expect it to be on the premise for entertaining you. It’s a serious analysis.

The hosts actually read books! A very engaging podcast and can’t wait for more of their content.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while and was really looking forward to this but I found one of the guys in the commentary too intense and shouty. I’m sure it’s great content but a bit too full on for me. Great work doing what you’re doing. Keep it up.

I have always enjoyed this show. The hosts are great and I appreciate the analysis. It’s very hard to listen with how often zitkato left punches and interrupts the other hosts to make the same point.

It is so nice hearing folks read through and discuss these texts

Came here for some accessible commentary and explainers on classic works of socialist theory and found exactly what I was looking for! Plus the guys are funny. I’ve found it’s a good place to start with socialist theory if you are (understandably) looking at how thick Das Kapital is and starting...Read full review »

These guys actually read books!!! And the books are good books!!! Seriously, required listening for every leftist.

I really enjoy my weekly podcast/bookclub with like minded people. Out here in Appalachia it gets pretty taxing discerning and befriending leftists. Marx Madness fills the void. Thank y’all for keeping me company!

Their personalities are big, which may be a deal breaker if you’re someone who prefers calming podcasts with ASMR-like pod hosts. If you don’t give a hoot, and want to listen in to two well educated leftists talk about leftist literature as well as current events- then you’d like this podcast....Read full review »

Capitalism got you down? World history not making any sense? Try Marxism-Leninism! Best when used with decolonial theory.

I am studying, but am often too busy (and much too slow a reader) to read everything. This helps so much!

I was told this was a podcast where they read books on communist theory and provide commentary. I was lied to! This is actually a hockey podcast where they talk about their love for Space Jam and Final Fantasy!!

Just like Nathan, I too was once a like warm fence sitter getting impaled by the picket fence like all who sit upon it in contemporary libertarian land as a youngin. Guided left by class struggle and consciousness, I landed on AnCom. Let me tell you; these two helped cure me of that...Read full review »

They do a great job of explaining the core concepts from each chapter of Capital vol I and having it as an audio resource meant that I was able to learn about Capital Vol I without reading it AND at work.

If you’re traveling left follow your local tankie! After all the goal of socialism is communism. These two gentlemen read Marxist text break it down into the simplest terms and relate it in today’s environment. Thanks comrades keep up the good work

For those of you who may be new to theory, or who simply can’t read for very long without getting bored, I highly suggest listening to this! I know that I never would have been able to get through Capital without this, as I hadn’t understood what was going on at so many points. The explanations...Read full review »

I think that this is a great show with great hosts that covers great books and teaches great theory. Very fun for those not overly well versed in the immortal science of Marxism Leninism lol.

Concise reading and discussion of fundamental leftist theory. A few factual errors occur in minor details, but they are quick to correct those. It’s a labor of love for a couple of workin’ stiffs recording in a basement; its informative and entertaining. What more could you want?

Fantastic listening. A must-listen for real socialists and communists. In the UK we are starved of genuine internationalism. The socialists here can be v narrow and don’t generally recognise the importance of Lenin, Cuba, Che, Mao, Irish Republicanism, Black Panthers, Fanon etc. So it’s FANTASTIC...Read full review »
