Toddler in a Ferrari
Went to Bloomberg for a more substantive alternative to an NPR podcast with the same concept. I've listened to five or six episodes in the past 3 months, and I have not been impressed. The concept is great, but the content is mediocre. I blame the host, Barry Ritholtz. He seems poorly prepared, asks weak and occasionally nonsensical questions, and seems to have a poor fundamental understanding of finance and business. I also get the feeling he is responsible for the poor quality of guests. The title "Masters in Business" implies F500 executives and investment gurus. Instead we get academics and journalists. I would be a devoted listener if someone from the Surveillance team were at the helm, but for now, this one is hardly worth an hour of your time.Read full review »

Barry’s laid back yet probing style along with his thorough knowledge of the broad range of topics he covers from capital markets to economics and behavioral finance make this the best podcast on finance available in the marketplace today.

Barry Ritholtz and staff do a fantastic job both planning and executing this podcast. It includes a variety of guests and Barry Ritholtz is an excellent host.
