I cycle commute to my medic shifts and I listen to Medic Mindset as I ride. It gives me food for thought while riding but also continually challenges me to be a thoughtful, educated medic and member of this community. I particularly love the Thinking series-and right after I listened to the...Read full review »

Medic Mindset is one of the 2 podcasts that I listen to the day they come out. I love not only the medical information I learn on the Thinking series episodes but also that glimpse into the minds of other medics on the anonymous guest episodes, to know I’m not alone in how I feel and think. Even...Read full review »

Ginger is an amazing host and interviews guests in a very creative and natural manner. As the host, she investigates and explores many aspects that make up EMS. Whither it is about better assessments, burnout or how to notify a family that their loved one has passed, Ginger branches out into...Read full review »

This is a great podcast sharing the outlooks of medics and how they respond to situations. How they prepare, think, read, relax deal with the job. I'm new to EMS and will be in paramedic school soon; but have been in the first responder field for quite some time and this resonates even to my...Read full review »

Recently discovered this podcast after seeing Ginger give a presentation facilitated by INHS called “EMS Live@Nite.” Huge fan, good people. Ginger obviously loves the field and that’s inspiring as a student just getting started in the field.

Started listening when I was going through my EMT class, now I’m in the Mat-Su medic program. It’s mostly down to this podcast.

This is probably my favorite paramedic podcast. While the podcasts that cover medical topics and in depth pathophysiology are interesting and beneficial they don’t address the medic themselves. I think our mind set in EMS is so important and so much more than just how to address depression. ...Read full review »
