“I AM UPDATING MY REVIEW. I logged in to this page and was shocked by negative comments. I feel connected to each story and think the host does a tremendous job talking to guests. I enjoy the mix stories about parents, friends, spouses. The mix is good. My original review is below ….
I have listened to this show for years and I think its even better than it has been……and yes I loved Meghna too. But Anna has a special place in my heart now and I think she has a beautiful podcast voice and laugh. I will say I am not sure what other people are referring to with the “new format” …… the show has always been a story and an interview and you would know that if you have listened for a while. My one problem is the actors can sometimes get too dramatic and I like when people read their own essays. Keep it up Anna and Modern Love….!”

“I enjoy listening to the stories. But the overly long discussion of the stories led by a host with a very annoying voice are superfluous. They add nothing and merely restate the obvious. We don’t need heavy handed explication in order to enjoy a story.”
