Informative and entertaining!
I remember being a teenager and checking out numerous books from the library relating to such matters as cryptozoology, UFOs, the Bermuda Triangle, ghosts, spontaneous human combustion etc, etc. As I got older and began to question things from a rational and scientific stand point my views on the abovementioned subjects changed but my interest in why people believed in such things didn't. It's refreshing to hear educated people discuss such topics as Bigfoot, Loch Ness, ghosts and el Chupacabra from a skeptical point of view rather than the all too common irrational, not to mention embarrassing, stance that is usually taken when these topics are shown on TV. There is good stuff to be had here! Kick back, listen and enjoy! I would also like to give kudos to Dr. Steve Novella for saying what needed to be said about the current crop of "ghost hunting" shows.Read full review »
