Had to stop listening, your mother is a monster, I’m sorry
Initially I really got into this podcast but 9 episodes in I realised that after your describing these awful moments from your childhood not once did your mother ever apologise or really acknowledge that any of this occurred. She offered up only denials, arguments about wording semantics, and amusement at her appalling behaviour. If this is giving you some sort of closure or help Rosie, then great, but mostly it just makes me incredibly sad and at times sick to my stomach. I can’t listen any more, but I think you are amazing and your writing is fantastic.
