Not worth the time
As much as I loved Murder in Oregon, I disliked Murder in Illinois. I started this podcast, thinking I would really enjoy it, but I quickly realize that I would not. It was hard to listen to the commentary from his family. I realize they are supposed to be inherently biased and support to their son, and I expect that they would believe he is actually innocent. however, they showed no remorse for the killings, and acted as if their son walked on water and was a hero who could do no wrong in life. Additionally, they were things presented in the podcast that were meant to sway me to have doubts on the conviction, but later, in the story, I found out that those things were not actually applicable in this case. I did not appreciate the attempt to manipulate the fax in order to achieve a certain result.
