I looked on Patreon and other platforms, but the first 289 eps are gone. If he’s put them behind the usual paywall, I didn’t hear any info about at the beginning of some recent episodes. I like the podcast, but wish I could hear previous episodes.

MWTC has the best expert guests in the true crime podcast world! Lee doesn’t hold anything back and provides excellent analyses on unsolved cases. He also educates through his Academy series for those interested in learning the behavioural side of crime. Definitely check it out!

The concept of the show is great. Mellor, the host and creator, is not. He’s self-admittedly arrogant, tone deaf, and often cuts off his guests while they’re speaking. Additionally, Mellor lacks the proper emotional ability one who hosts a true crime show and interviews guests should have. Again...Read full review »

Patreon doesn’t list Murder was the case. I tried just the first word, case sensitive etc. Can’t contribute if I can’t find you, and your the best and most interesting!

This is definitely a cut above the rest. Not just a rehash of a Wikipedia true crime article as so many other podcasts. I enjoy the host’s analyses, & feel as if I am back in my Abnormal Psych class, but now without the pressure of having an exam hanging over my head. I can simply listen and...Read full review »

Lee you made a fascinating episode and your plan to examine other societal outlaw groups is brilliant - a great change up. Much appreciated!

I love this podcast I could seriously be a murder was the case cheerleader 🖤🖤Dr. Mellor ( spelling?) Features a plethora of guests each uniquely qualified to discuss the crime related topic at hand. There is an intimacy in these dive bar sessions that draws you in and makes the experience so...Read full review »

Great deep dives and insight into the topics. The guests are usually engaging and interesting. Audio quality is usually good. My biggest complaint is the voice impressions Dr. Lee does. They can be a little annoying and he can be a little pretentious at times, but hey, I’m a subscriber and listen...Read full review »

The academic focus on the psychosocial aspects of criminality, real talk and profanity are gratifying, but the clueless white guy/edgelord defensiveness just bleeds into everything and kills any value here. So many WTF moments of unchallenged douchery had me cringing along with the WAY too polite...Read full review »

Rob, How would Dave Philips (a tennis pro that taught me how to play tennis), ‘know Liz very well’ (last episode) if ‘Liz does not play tennis’??? (Earlier episode). You are innocent of this crime but after 10 hours of talking about it on a podcast there are multiple gaps in your unchallenged...Read full review »

Finally a crime podcast that takes the listener into the psychological aspects of crime. This is the best podcast available. Dr Lee Mellor uses his professional knowledge to examine cases and gives the listener a great mixture of guests, cases and information.

I just discovered this podcast a few months back, and initially was turned off by what I felt was some weird reactionary political interjections that rubbed me the wrong way, but ultimately, I didn’t let my own political bias to immediately write off a podcast that I found really fascinating. Lee Mellor is really knowledgeable and I loved hearing him as a guest on Canadian True Crime, so was excited when I learned he had his own podcast. The first episodes that were in a lecture format were amazing; I did not enjoy the deep dive format, however (too much idle chat) which is the...Read full review »

Really enjoyed listening to your & Mike M s take on zodiac profile. Just an FYI— did either of you discover that the new Masonic Temple going up in Vallejo was burned by arsonists on January 1, 1974. I have deleted/culled all of my other TC podcasts! They pale in comparison. I personally really like this podcast and have learned a lot from it. The topics and guests are interesting. I chose the 4stars over the 3stars bc no one does more on forensic psychology that I’ve ever found. I truly appreciate and enjoy the academic angle Lee brings to the table. This man is the Mick Jagger of true crime podcasts. His voice and tone, his delivery, and everything else. Let’s face it. Your interview with Victor Malarek was the best I have ever heard, and I listen to a lot of podcasts! It was straightforward, unapologetic and truly an unheard voice of our time. Thank you for not shying away from the hard topics, I am better because I have listened.

When terms like “Faggy” and “Retarded” are casually thrown around in episodes it leaves you to question how they really feel about people who are not white, cis and male. Informative? Yes! Socially acceptable? Not at all.
