Overall, this is a well-done, creepy, well-produced series of stories. The sound design, music, acting, and writing are all very good. The stories intertwine well and have a sense of building tension as the series progresses. Aside from the note below I would have given five stars.
One of the episodes features graphic, violent harm to an animal. The tone of the show is creepy, dark, and mysterious, but I don't feel like it telegraphed that harm well. I wasn't prepared for that and I found it incredibly off-putting. The episodes before it set a tone of strange things happening that might be ultimately harmful, but in a slow creeping sort of way. “Gripping stories that are really interesting. The only drawback is that the sound effects in between sections are long and tedious, the pitch of them makes it really uncomfortable to listen to on headphones.”
