“Used to be full of interesting stories, but now the amount of unrelated asinine chatter has reached an unbearable level - it’s almost like they’ve gotten a bit too comfortable and less interested in actually producing a quality product. The sponsorships have also gotten out of control - it’s great (and necessary) to make some money, but the constant selling of shampoo, sleep supplements, vitamins, razors, etc (all real, not making any of these up) is just disgusting. They clearly don’t have much business sense based on the joke and total ripoff that their “merch” sale was, so I’m not sure how smart of an idea it is for them to keep “partnering” with potentially predatory businesses anyway. As a previously loyal listener, I’ve become really disappointed in what this podcast has become. I hope they’re able to bring it back!”
