Times gone by
I started listening to NPAD around episode 12 and have been a faithful listener since. I missed their first special but signed up for the second and I was actually kind of sad to miss the Stanley Hotel show. That being said, it’s become a chore to listen. The last trail tales episode had an ad between each tale. It doesn’t help that the ads sometimes feel longer than actual content blocks. I understand people need to make money and bills need to be paid, but this just feels like they’ve drifted from their roots into something that’s more money driven than anything else. I will probably stay subscribed but I’m not sure how often I’ll check in for a listen.

More reviews of National Park After Dark
You guys should catch up on your own time and launch into the stories much, much sooner. Waiting 6-10 minutes for the actual content is ridiculous, as is thanking your listeners ad nauseum and subjecting us to your inside jokes. No one cares about your boyfriends’ photography skills.

This is my aesthetic. Focusing on national parks and weird things that happen in and around them. You’re covering all of the bases here, ladies. Please keep them coming 💚

This podcast is very fun. The ladies do an amazing job researching the stories of the beloved national parks. (Yes, there is some harsh language, but the podcast is about death.. so youngins probably shouldn’t be listening anyway lol).
