We are not criminals
Listen now
Description
After discussing current danish politics with Amnesty International, I set off to Slagelse which is on the famous "ghetto" list. That's where I met Mohammed from the organisation Dandelion. He founded Dandelion after he got out of prison in order to prevent local youth from following his footsteps. After that, I went back to Copenhagen to meet Emilie Birk Jørgensen, a researcher at the Danish crime prevention council. I wanted to know if there's really a difference between the criminality rate of ethnic minority youth and danish caucasian youth.
