Quips & Scares
October's Children is overflowing with youthful energy and it's a show that wears its politics on its sleeve. A diverse cast of characters populate a small town plagued by evil monsters and mysterious, sinister authorities. There's some sudden, gory sound design that is effective and startling. The writing mixes sitcom-like banter with more Lovecraftian themes, but will sometimes shift suddenly into horror--it seems to be finding a more sure footing as it goes, giving characters room to breathe in later episodes.Read full review »

For absolutely no reason. It does nothing to further the story except tell me that there’s likely a whole bunch of agenda pushing blue haired weirdos behind this podcast. One star.

Amazing monster design, great performances, and an intriguing story. Love the realistic portrayal of queer characters. A must listen, especially if you like new England horror
