“Has potential as far as the story, the sond editing is really good (had a few inconsistencies where I had to keep adjusting the volume on my headset because dialog would be too low and then my eardrums would get blown out by loud monster/intense sounds), but it just feels like it's trying a little too hard to be "woke." I really wanted to like it but some things were just too cringy and I couldn't get past, like intentionally pointing out everyone's "pronouns" during character introductions, or just really cheesy acting from some voice actors.”Read full review »

“The mystery is engaging, the characters are likeable (except the ones deliberately written to be detestable) and there's more humour than I expected given the genre, but not at the expense of the story. Top notch stuff. Not sure why people are dropping stars over ‘pronouns’ it doesn’t impact the story or flow negatively in any way… maybe they have a personal dislike of pronouns?
Personally I felt there were too many verbs…but it’s still 5 stars”
