I listen while cooking dinner! It’s such a great idea for a podcast, so simple yet endlessly compelling. James and Ed’s banter is absurd, lighthearted and entertaining.

That was so entertaining. Laughed so much throughout .. then she discussed the pudding s . That was almost normal. A great time had.

Found this during lockdown in Dubai, got me through some dark times and still a regular listen as it has turned into something of a comfort blanket of late. Keep it up guys, your work is amazing.

A perfect podcast to just sleep too, it’s funny and never gets old with its variety of different comedians.I have listened to many of these now and I would highly recommend this podcast especially if you see any comedians or people.

The last episode with Lucy (dog in the woods) had me laughing out loud. Might even be tempted to try vegan chicken nuggets.

Always been a staple download but its getting frustrating that all the biggest names in comedy are live shows. I have struggled through a few times but the live format does not relay well to a traditional podcast. The show needs more balance in guests for the ‘normal’ podcast, which is now...Read full review »

I used to loved this podcast and the earlier series are brilliant. The latest season doesn’t seem to have any format, it’s just the guests trying to plug their new projects whilst Ed whittles on tiresomely, Stevo’s one being a PRIME example of absolute no food conversation, just waffle about...Read full review »

Has been a great podcast - some stand out episodes include Claudia Winkleman, Bob Mortimer, Rylan Clark, Phil Wang, Paul F Tompkins, Paul Chowdury, Ainsley Harriott, Miriam Margoyles. But the turning point was seeing them live last year, it showed no warmth or love to the audience. Ed and James...Read full review »

I know these two from Taskmaster. This is great to listen to while I drive to fill the gap! Lots of fun food ideas. Love to listen to two people who love food as much as I do.

just recently found the pod and am endlessly entertained as I go thru the catalog while staying current. the banter these two have is good enough so the insane guests are just the icing on top. 10/10 no notes.

Got recommended this while at work and I am really glad. Instant hit with me - great guests and an interesting idea. It has got me wondering what my ideal meal would be. Just wish I was famous so I could discuss it with Ed and James!

Love how quick witted our hosts are. As a long time Buffy fan particularly enjoyed Anthony Stewart Head episode. He seemed absolutely entertained and giddy with laughter. Saw someone ranking on a recent episode which I actually enjoyed as we seem to feel so entitled to negative press and...Read full review »

I’m not a big podcast person, but I’ve loved James Acaster’s work since stumbling across his amazing Netflix specials (and then watching Cold Lasagna oh…. about 10 times). I listen to a lot of podcasts, but I always skip the queue when there’s new Off Menu. It’s PURE JOY AND ENTERTAINMENT. Even when I don’t know the guest I become so invested in their food choices and history. James and Ed are hilarious and perfect co-hosts. I will never get sick of this show....Read full review »

It’s clear which guests are good at networking with executives or working a live audience. They’re adaptable, good natured, and even have something interesting to say. They can just be really deft. You can also tell when they handle the hosts with aplomb. cuz they’re not good, the hosts don’t...Read full review »

I adore Ed and James and this podcast so much.
