These guys are a brilliant pair - they clearly love food and are wonderful friends. A joy to listen to; thank you for all those times I’ve burst out laughing while listening! Cannot wait for Series 9 to launch!

I only started listening three days ago when I found my mind wondering when I was listening to audiobooks, I find these episodes absolutely hilarious . Before I know it I’ve listened to a few of them and walked the dog 10 miles. She’s slenderising, I’m slenderising and making a really dirty wrap...Read full review »

Got my wisdom teeth taken out. Listened to the Maisie Adams episode. She made The Noise. Laughed so hard I popped my stitches. Got dry socket. No regrets. 10/10 would do it again.

Will take a hiatus from the pod. Alex Horne is far to self-indulgent for this format. Disappointingly the chaps sounded sycophantic. Will listen again in March. 👍

Love it but a warning for the Phil Wang Episode. Give that episode a swerve if you have a queasy tummy. My imagination with the mix of the food described turned my guts.

A great podcast that is ruined by the presenters over-the-top fake laughing

Not sure about this anymore following the sniggering and giggling about Mel Giedroyc’s childhood family friends who gave beautiful gifts every Christmas. The well meaning couple did not have children but obviously were looking to find that joy by giving so generously to the children of friends....Read full review »

I can’t recommend this pod highly enough. Every episode has me laughing out loud, which is fine when I’m listening with other people but looks a bit weird when I’m on my own, walking around town with earbuds in, especially when they’re hidden under a hat! The first episode I listened to was...Read full review »

POPPADOMS OR BREAD? I shout that at my friends sometimes and probably about 6/10 get the reference which is pretty good?!

I have been feasting on this podcast for several weeks now. Throughout the laughs it’s clear comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster genuinely love food, which elicits interesting and unexpected conversational tangents with guests, despite the set format. They make the topic of food simultaneously...Read full review »

I attended a posh do over the weekend and the food was surprisingly excellent… until the final course. In lieu of dessert a cheeseboard was presented at each table. No pastry, no slice of cake, not even a scoop of ice cream. To be fair, the cheeseboard was nice but it was not dessert. Sorry, Ed...Read full review »

The best podcast by a mile. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, Paul Choudry comes on and he, Ed & James deliver 1:15 of the best comedy I’ve ever heard. What a format. It will never ever get old. Genieus 👌

This is the funniest podcast I know. They have Amazon guests and the conversations are always unique, enlightening and extremely entertaining.

A couple of very good recent guests eg Rylan and Richard E Grant are papering over the cracks. The Richard Ayoade was just awful. So clique. His schtick is wearing thin

Back to being the best podcast available. It lost its way a year or so ago with very mediocre guests but it’s back on too now. Sir Lenny Henry, Rylan and Richard E Grant are my most recent standout episodes but there hasn’t been a bad episode for ages. Bravo!
Raniator via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 10/04/22
I love this podcast. Up to now Timothy Spall has been my favourite, so funny! But Rylan is up there. I listen while I’m out walking the dog and I was laughing out loud down the street! Ed and James certainly being out the best in the guests. It comes so naturally. Rylans stories are hysterical....Read full review »

Rylan episode is GREAT! But did not know what a cremmonne is! You live and learn. Thank you guys for this awesome pod!

The concept is brilliant, showing fantastic flexibility to different guests and their preferences. I really enjoy this podcast, but it sometimes goes unnecessarily rude, which seems to me a bit incongruous with the pseudo-fine-dining atmosphere they establish in the dream restaurant.
tjwdickinson via Apple Podcasts · Belgium · 09/29/22
This is a consistently wonderful podcast, full of genuine warmth and humour, but I just had to add to the other reviews saying that Rylan’s episode was genuinely the funniest episode I’ve listened to of any podcast, ever. Straight into the Off Menu hall of fame with the likes of Joe Thomas, Greg...Read full review »
