Really so good. Wonderful storytelling from a wonderful writer and narrator (and composer etc!). Plus for geeks like me the production levels and effort/care taken not only comes across but elevates everything. Obv highly recommend and thank you to the artist!

If you have this persistent anxiety the origins of which are often unclear, listening to this while sipping with a hot cup of chamomile, valerian or any calming herb tea, might be just what the (metaphorical) doctor ordered.

I love this podcast but I had to skip the entire first season because I listen at night and the whistling is so obnoxious! I like to listen back to back so it wouldn’t matter for just one as I can skip it, but by episode 2 I’m falling asleep and it jolts me awake. It’s so awful! Her voice is...Read full review »

Why do more people not know about this. I found this a few months ago and have loved each and every episode. I am only halfway through them and I’m already worried about what to do when I finish them... probably listen again from the beginning. Our narrator has a wonderfully soothing voice and...Read full review »

My roommate and I have devoured over 25 episodes tonight and we have no plans to stop any time soon, I still listen to this when I go to sleep and I have to back track bc I cant not latch onto every word and every song spoken by both creator and narrator. Please don’t stop any time soon

Somehow this podcast mingles a soothing orator telling heart-racing stories reminiscent of Poe. From the music (originally composed) to the language to the intonation of each word, the stories are the perfect nightcap of literary horror. Kristen is a master writer, performer, composer and...Read full review »

I stumbled upon this show and the wonderful Kristen Zaza after searching for narrative horror podcasts. I had not listened to one told from this perspective in a long time and wanted to give it a go. Absolutely glad I did, after 5 episodes I had decided to listen to the entire show from the...Read full review »

I feel this character 🐿🐇🦨🦫🐾Having recently acquired a forest of my own where I cultivate beauty and spiders and consult my cards and watch the moon. Her way of speaking, her femininity which is real, soft, yet dangerous, the constant nature metaphors. I love it. All of it.

I love to listen before bed. Kristen has the most soporific tone to her voice that I set my sleep timer and to be honest, have rarely finished an episode in its entirety. Not an issue though, I get to listen twice!

Her voice...the stories....the music.... This is, hand’s down, the best sleep podcast out there!

I love feeding my inner child, being able to dream and come up with the most impossible of things. This podcast helps take me back to a time when stories were read to me and ispired me to create my own. A moment just for me, right before I enter the world of dreams.

I recently found this podcast and I’m so glad I did. It has just a right amount of creep without being overly scary. I love the way the stories are told, so soothing. This podcast brings joy to my creepy-story-loving self. Definitely recommend especially during spooky season. 👻

<3 I tend to get taken out of the moment and stuck on niggly little things like misspoken words and poor grammar. That is why I love this podcast. If Frasier is your kind of show but you’re also a bit of a creep... listen in.

I love Kristen’s stories! Her slow soothing voice and her original music make this a great sleep podcast. The stories are kind of fairytale-esque with classic horror themes, told by a mysterious narrator. I put this on every night and sometimes the stories weave their way into my dreams, it’s the...Read full review »

Love the narration and the stories. The music however is a bit like nails on the blackboard and jarring when trying to relax, but that’s pretty minor. Great podcast otherwise!

In the depths of night, it is sometimes all one can do not to go mad...or perhaps choose to step into the void of questioning one’s own sanity. My wife and I love to turn out the lights, get comfortable and listen to Kristen Zaza speak as the narrater that is going to tell us a story. Her voice and sound effects are perfect. Her stories are original, and she manages to avoid cliches. How she does this once a week is a mystery in itself.
