A Perfectly Spooky Narrative
I stumbled upon this show and the wonderful Kristen Zaza after searching for narrative horror podcasts. I had not listened to one told from this perspective in a long time and wanted to give it a go. Absolutely glad I did, after 5 episodes I had decided to listen to the entire show from the Episode 1. Her voice is perfect for this genre of spooky storytelling and she does an amazing job with the scripting and additional audio elements. If you are sensitive to sharp noises, the intro/outro from Ep. 1 to 100 may bother you. I encourage you to just skip the first 30-45 seconds if it's a problem as every episode is a gem that you don't want to miss. It changes at 101 and should no longer be an issue.Read full review »

My wife and I love to turn out the lights, get comfortable and listen to Kristen Zaza speak as the narrater that is going to tell us a story. Her voice and sound effects are perfect. Her stories are original, and she manages to avoid cliches. How she does this once a week is a mystery in itself.

I am SO EXCITED for season two! These podcasts develop a real relationship between you, zaza, and the narrator. Honestly started listening as a way to relax and then fell in love! I hope they go on forever 💕
