Branded and Hard To Listen To Host
I don't care for it being a branded podcast (eBay). When talking about business I think it works better in a more honest fashion. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Gimlet's other podcasts like StartUp and ReplyAll. But even overlooking that fact, actually listening to the episodes is a bit hard on the ears due to the host sounding as if he's reading from a script and in some moments struggling to read from the script. It reminds me of a highschool or college production. The content is okay, though. They interview some interesting people and get some good stories about their journies in the small business world. If content is all that matters to you, then this is a decent podcast, otherwise, it just falls flat.Read full review »

John Henry does a great job hosting, and the topics they cover are pretty dynamic for being eBay branded. The branded nature feels pretty natural too. I always look forward to listening.
