UCLA came out with a recent study that suggests labeling your emotions at the precise moment you are confronting what you fear can indeed have the effect of reducing your fear! So basically being honest with how you feel, and openly expressing it helps you more than diminishing it. I was wondering a lot about the feelings of embarrassment. Mostly because my sisters are at a stage in their life where they avoid doing simple tasks because of the fear of embarrassment. What is the harm in talking to a sales worker about something you need? Eitherway, there are pros and cons to feeling embarrassed. Also why do we feel cringey after watching certain things, for me its watching some Tik Tok videos. I can't stop watching it, but at the same time I feel cringey when I do! WHY??...
