I have learned so much from this pod and a lot has stuck with me. Especially the hard hitting episodes, some of my favs were the 911 operator, bodyguard, mass shooting, man in jail, prison guard, the recent one about the lady with cancer. I love behind the scenes of people’s day to days that we...Read full review »

This podcast really fills my need for social interaction without being held to speaking myself. I look forward to the end segment when the hosts speak their truths and leave comments on YT after I listen. Commenters have said they aren’t confrontational enough with the caller in question, but I...Read full review »

It is probably a good thing to have a forum like this where people can express What is going on in their mind all day understand. It is interesting. But the one star will remain until this show adds a "explicit rating". parents set parental settings on their children's phone, and it...Read full review »

I love the concept of this show and hearing all the different lifestyles, however the hosts are way too agreeable for the sake of avoiding conflict. Some of the people you have on live straight up harmful lifestyles and you not challenging them could influence listeners to make maybe not so great...Read full review »

I truly enjoy this podcast. I like how both of the hosts let the guests speak, and don’t come from a place of anger and judgement. I DEFINITELY don’t agree with some of the guests actions or the things they say but Greg and Joe make them feel really comfortable to talk openly and candidly.

The hosts and premise of the show is fantastic. The guests just get trashier and trashier which is what makes it so entertaining!!

I just want to say the guy who’s having sex with other men and is keeping it from his wife, you are disgusting. You’re literally taking her voice away from her and possibly passing STD’s on to her without GIVING HER A CHOICE. You’ve taken away her choice and as far as I’m concerned it’s SA. I...Read full review »

Gives insight into many viewpoints and life experiences that most people would never have even known about, none the less heard in great detail about. Props to the hosts for always remaining professional and kind even when some people’s viewpoints are really controversial. Thank you Greg and Joe!

Good concept for a show. However there is no story line in the interview. They jump to different events in these people’s lives instead of following a beginning middle and end. It would be much more cohesive if they did this. Furthermore, they do not listen to the person they’re interviewing,...Read full review »

I love these two and have been a follower for years. Continually giving these absolute horrible people a platform to speak has gotten too much for me. The most recent episode with the school shooter is VERY out of touch and that guy should not be able to speak about his experience. Used to love...Read full review »

Why would you give this guy a platform to tell his story? Love the pod but that episode is a no go for me. Nothing against you guys but this episode nah

Aside from the interview with the man who talked about his experience as a stutterer, most of these interviews are with truly horrible narcissistic (some borderline sociopathic people, and I’m a licensed therapist so I’m not just throwing around those terms). Enough with blaming Canada for poor air quality, It’s bad enough for us in Canada dealing with the forest fires as it is !! It’s not exactly a issue that we can control!! It was a really hard listen. She sounded both dumb and abhorrent. The hosts had no interesting insights.

Conflict usually occurs when people lack understanding of other people’s lives - mad respect to you both Greg and Joe for establishing a place for people to voice their stories, share information, and be vulnerable. Incredibly thoughtful and kind!

hosts could definitely be more engaging with the guests when answering to their responses / asking questions and not jump around questions so much! much love though as always

I’ve enjoyed the podcast and the topics covered, but had to step back when they highlighted the caller who admitted to enabling pedophiles and they didn’t seem to have a problem with that.

It would be better if the hosts weren’t so cringey. Too often, you can literally hear the judgement in their tone and reactions to their guests who are literally pouring their hearts out. It’s so uncomfortable to hear sometimes. Otherwise, it’s generally interesting! Could only be better if...Read full review »

This is one of my favorite shows but I definitely feel like the lady from the episode where she likes being the “other woman” was lying 3/4 if not the entire time she was talking. What a whack job!

I love this podcast and have been a fan for years. I just find the newer guests/episodes insufferable. Difficult to listen to or just really boring. Missing the older episodes.

I feel as though the girl who steals people’s husbands would have been very interesting had she been slightly more educated. It was like listening to a pubescent teen. I have been watching joes videos for a long time and all of them have been quality content! I appreciate the concept & the hosts do a good job. However more often then not the stories are upsetting and sexual in nature. I *almost* understand the producers idea to show the “other side” of transness when bringing on a person who regrets their transition. Long time listener. Some episodes are super interesting and others I wouldn’t listen to if you paid me. I want to like this! However, the questions from the hosts are backed in so much judgement. I looooved this podcast. I’ve always taken the same road as Joe and Greg that kink shaming is lame, but the zoophilia episode sent me over. The topics covered in the podcast are interesting but everytime i try to listen to an episode I can’t make it past the 20 minute mark. This is a great show. People may criticize how they allow conversational people to speak. However, that is the point of the podcast. It’s to hear about other peoples lives. I listen to podcasts 8-12 hours per day while at work. Often, my attention span loses focus and I don’t know what’s going on in a podcast because I zone out because a lot are so freaking boring. I love this podcast it’s 1 of maybe 3 podcasts that I even listen to. I recommend the Disney performer and 40-year-old virgin episode. I feel that the anonymous hotline is also great. This podcast has the potential to be great, but after every episode I feel unsatisfied by the poor questioning. It just skims the surface. No depth or analysis, just basic questions with no before thought. Would be better if they could ask more thought provoking questions.
