Because I’m a friend of a friend and all I’ve heard is about how verbally abusive Dan was, how much of a control freak, and how all Wendi’s friends begged her not to marry him. I’m obviously not arguing this justifies murder but clearly the first episode was not a full portrait of the marriage. She didn’t leave him because she didn’t like Tallahassee and he didn’t like her novel. Are you kidding? Who would leave for reasons as flimsy as that? Sounds to me like the reporters are just as clueless and misogynistic as Dan.”
