“I feel like Wondery does a good job of finding exciting stories (Dirty John, Dr. Death etc) but the reporting feels a little sensational and just not as well put together as the This American Life group (Serial, S-Town). The first episode was so all over the place (not introducing people or giving context to who they are in this story, skipping around from a timeline of the relationship to details about the husband to their wedding announcement) I had a hard time following. It just feels like it needs more structure.”
