Started so well
As an extremely moderate drinker who has successfully maintained my weekly units in single figures for some considerable time I was encouraged by the inclusive tone of this fun podcast at the start. Unfortunately within a handful of episodes the whole thing descends into preaching the abstinence model as the only workable option. It’s so depressing. Some of us can actually have the odd glass of bubbly to celebrate a friend’s birthday without necking an entire bottle and waking up in a skip every time we partake of the demon drink. It would be great to have that acknowledged rather than completely dismissed as impossible. I like listening to stuff about going alcohol free but not if it’s going to preach at me.

Their honesty, authenticity and humour are second to none....Read full review »
