Love the pod- feedback about food/diet
Love the podcast and do want to give it 5 stars. However, I would encourage Dr Naomi to reframe some of her perspective on food and health. A more nuanced intuitive eating approach is often way more beneficial for people struggling with bingeing and restricting. Even when balance is being preached, it seems to be peppered with comments that reflect a “good” vs “bad” food mentality. This can really trip people up that struggle with food and subconsciously trigger worse bingeing. For instance, the person on 1/9/24 that struggles with bingeing… comments were made about chick fil a being “terrible for you” and that some people “can’t just have once slice of pizza.” Food is not the same as drugs or alcohol and it is generally much better for people to be able to allow all foods in their mind which then prevents other foods from being so all or nothing.

This is exactly what I needed...Read full review »

As someone with anxiety and depression, I’m constantly feeling and asking myself the same things these listeners are. I enjoy the informal way the girls talk about these relatable situations, as well as the professional advice. I can’t wait to hear more.
