Vanity piece for the narrator
Constant reminders from the narrator that he is an "investigator" and has been "investigating cases for years" to the point of distraction. I find in true crime podcasts there are generally two types of narrators, ones who simply tell the story and ones who inject themselves into the story and try to make it about them whenever possible. This one is absolutely the latter. There is a tragic, interesting story to tell here but it's buried beneath ego.Read full review »
