If one single episode stands out, it’s the 14 year old boy, especially when he talks about how child protection failed this family and why. I’m a child protection social worker and I’ve asked for it to be added to the casework practice resources.

Discussions happening by the professional services that are talking realities and not giving excuses for the downfalls. Domestic abuse is not the victims fault and we shouldn’t be ashamed to say that we have had to experience that.

This podcast is so needed! As a former victim I wish that the lawyers, judges, and DV center employees had had this type of awareness about abuse. You are doing such a service by addressing the pitfalls and biases around a subject people still have so much to learn about.
