History of Inventions
This podcast investigates the curious history of invention and innovation. Did Thomas Edison take credit for things he didn’t actually invent? What everyday items have surprising origins? And would man have ever got to the moon without… the bra? Each episode host Dallas Campbell dives into stories of flukey discoveries, erased individuals and merky marketing ploys with the help of experts, scientists and historians. Expect new episodes every Wednesday and Sunday. Brilliant
Fascinating and broad subjects, great host and guests. I had heard this advertised on another History Hit pod and didn’t initially thought would be a bit obscure but so glad I tried it! Who knew a podcast on power point could be so interesting?! But it is! I’ll be recommending this to everyone.

Found this recently and am listening to almost all of the episodes so i can learn more stuff! Guests are well selected, and host does a wonderful deep dive on all the topics. The jaunty theme music is great for walks. Highly recommend this series.

I love this podcast! It’s made me look at all the things around me with a new perspective! Even the (seemingly) driest of subjects is engagingly discussed by experts - and Dallas’ questions are delving deep but manage to keep it entertaining. More, please!!!
