Description
Welcome to the Peak Endurance podcast! Episode 108 is another interview with the amazing Maggie Guterl! Just a few weeks ago Maggie won the inaugural Cocodona 250. Maggie was first female and 7thoverall in a time of 85 hours, 32 minutes and 27 seconds. The Cocodona 250 links together some of the most iconic trails and towns in Arizona for one monumental undertaking of 250 consecutive miles. The race starts in Black Canyon City at Rock Springs Cafe and traverses a continuous 250 mile point-to-point route, ending in Flagstaff, Arizona. In this episode we discuss how her nutrition and hydration plan went, how much sleep she had and her high and low points. At the start of the conversation we discuss the height of Flagstaff, which Maggie said was 7,400ft which I then said was just over 3000m. I meant to say just over 2000m but in my defence it was 4.45am for me and I had not long woken up!! If you do enjoy this episode, please go on over to Apple podcasts to rate, review and subscribe.
