“Love love love these guys. Such a great double act - a really nice balance, how they go back and forth, no hogging the spotlight. They are incredibly knowledgeable, never talk down to their listeners. I listen from London and am bowled over by how articulate and fluent they are - no verbal tics, pleasant voices. In the aspidistra episode, I was pleased but not surprised at the Orwell inclusion but very surprised they picked up the Gracie Fields reference. My only criticism: no need to be so deferential to their guests who in most cases seem less professional/less informed than the hosts.”
