Highly informative podcast.
I love guitar and have done for years considering myself somewhere between intermediate and advanced.Over recent years the podcast in general has become one of my favourite forms of media especially as I drive for a living, its the perfect format for me. So you would imagine guitar podcasts were the obvious choice but for some reason I never pursued that natural combo, imagining guitar would not lend itself to podcasting. Well over the last month I've discovered how half baked an idea that was, obviously so. I have been listening to Lee now for less than a week, binge listening as they say and I am utterly impressed on a number of levels but I think for me after listening to one episode concerning modes he laid it out in it's most basic form and this time it clicked, nearly instantly.I sat there with my guitar as I listened and at one point even cried out loud "so that's what I've been missing all along".I've read about modes, watched youtube videos etc and although I have examples of each mode in diagram form somewhere I've never had the patience to sit down and memorise each one,I knew they were built on degrees of the major/minor scale but until he explained it in basic terms the big picture didn't click. Now I understand it while realising I don't even need to memorise each seperate mode individually but refer back to the parent scale to find my way. That in itself makes this podcst worth the 'ticket price',as they say. Beyond that his depth of knowledge, enthusiasm, love of guitar and clarity of explanation as well as a penchant for the stratocaster make this probably the best guitar podcast I've yet come across.Read full review »

I’m very pleased to have discovered this podcast. A lot of guitar podcasts are very cliquey and make you feel outside unless you are a super-shredder but Lee goes all out to include every level of player and get them inspired. I listen to this on my bike so twin passions covered!

Lee really knows his stuff...but even more importantly, he loves what he does! This really comes through in his podcasts and you can hear the excitemnet in his voice when he lets you in on a secret ;-) The podcast itself covers a wide spectrum of music, but in particular blues music.
