Disappointing; should be much better given the talent of the regulars
For some reason, the 3 regulars, Dickerson, Plotz & Bazelon, can't seem to sustain any degree of coherence or depth. They continually get sidetracked with irrelevant snide, personal remarks to one another. There are continuous interruptions which disrupt the flow of the topic under consideration. They seem to be much more interested in showing how "in" they are as opposed to sustaining a topic under discussion. They should listen to the NPR Diane Rehm show on Fridays which is an exemplary and professional discussion about current topics in the news.Read full review »

I think John Dickerson has generally thoughtful and well informed commentary and Emily Bazelon often provides insightful commentary. ugh, how annoying and pedestrian this commentary is! better to belly up to a bar or a beauty salon and pick up your headline analysis there!
