Enjoyed this
I'm late to the game. I've only just listened to the Frances O'Grady One and the Armando Iannucci One (one). I enjoyed both, although the latest "One" was a lovefest between two old school chums, which in itself is entertaining podcasting. Mr Robinson lets these two talk and challenges a bit. Now I quite like that because the Today programme is more like early morning testerone gone mad normally. Mr Iannucci did imply that the Iraq War wouldn't have happened if there were more controls over the Prime Minister like Trump has. I beg to differ. The USA President Bush (W) had the same controls as Trump and yet we ended up being involved in a completely useless and wasteful conflict based mainly on letting the American public think that the political elite in Washington were capable of doing something. British democracy isn't perfect but it's better than any other country.Read full review »
