My primary news source
Like the title suggests, I keep use this podcast as my primary source of Canadian news and it's really helped me to learn about events and concerns across the country that I would normally be completely ignorant of. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the political punditry although since the program IS a political one, I took no stars off. It is very helpful in exposing me to political spin though and I'm getting better and better at being able to recognize the tactics politicians and their accessories will employ when being interviewed so I'm really grateful for that. It is funny when a situation is clearly unsalvageable but the pundit or the minister just refuses to give in and continues to try to spin in order to save face. It often reminds me of the Simpsons episode where the solution to getting out a huge hole that was dug in an effort to locate non-existent treasure was to “Dig up stupid”. I have been delighted to hear Rosemary really start to give her guests the clamps in recent months when they're being deliberately obtuse or trying to skew reality to fit their particular narrative. Few things in my day are as much fun as listening to her verbally corner someone until they've got no more room to operate. All in all, an informative and well put together show.Read full review »

The show is great, Vassy is on point and presses guests from a non-partisan perspective which keeps the show feeling unbiased. Keep up the great work
