Primus has such a unique and interesting backstory that you guys cover in spades. Primus has played only one show in 2023. It was a benefit for a friend. It was a great show with members of Tool and QOTSA performing with them. The cover of “Whole lotta Rosie” is the highlight for me. I was hoping...Read full review »

Didn’t think I could love my favorite band of all time more, but the work that Josh Frankie and Soya put in has rekindled and refreshed my love for a band that I have listened to for 30+ years. It’s not just a matter of opinion! This pod rocks! Keep ‘em comin you Golden Boys!

Really amazing show. So happy that I stumbled across this . Having listened to pretty much everything in the last month or so I’m really getting back into Primus again. Not that I’d gone too far over the falls I Was incredibly happy to know that “The Storm” was only played once outside of The...Read full review »

Thank you guys for making this podcast. I spent my teenage years obsessed with Primus. So much so I made a pretty nice copy of Les’s 4 String CT maple backup bass my senior year of high school in wood shop back in 08. This podcast reminds me of when me and my friends would sit around and talk...Read full review »

Haven’t nerded out about Primus since I was like 2007. Since finding the podcast I’ve been listening to nothing but Primus again. I’ve been playing a small jazz kit most of my years but now I’m using 4 toms & I’m about to buy splashes, bells & all the ding dangs, whistles, bangers &...Read full review »

A nice introspective into the dense lyrics and history of my favorite band. I am listening to an episode a day until I’m caught up. Josh and Frankie are great hosts and there special guests are top tier Primus folks.

Hey I just wanted to say I’ve been enjoying the podcast. I didn’t think there were bigger primus fans than me in the world but I think you have me beat. Thank you so much for this podcast. I binged it in a couple of months, and now the only problem is I only get one show per week. This podcast is great. I don't know how I didn't discover it until now. The only problem I have is, I wish I could be on it to fill in some information. Very nice podcast that proves me at each episode that I only know the tip of the Primus iceberg. I’ve been an hardcore fan for 5 years now (without Primus I wouldn’t be studying jazz bass in music school next year) and listening to this podcast has been a real treat.
