“A couple of good friends taking the mickey out of each other, whilst eruditely discussing modern bardgames and good whiskey. Eric and Jim are clever, funny and engaging. Their in-depth discussions of a few games every two weeks or so is one of my podcast gems. I get to listen to them to work and back over several days, plus a few minutes each night, until that episode is done, and I can then bother about catching up with other podcasts again. Truly a wonderful experience each time to hear these two "grumpy old men" opine about a hobby I enjoy and give pointers on a whiskey I might like. If you enjoy modern euro boardgames, or whiskey (or music) then do yourself a favour and subscribe.”Read full review »
