“Not too stuffy or pretentious nor is it too silly or lowbrow. These guys know how to bring film academia and true love for film into the discussion. They're well informed but most importantly they're enthusiastic. There are thousands of people who know films deeply but only a percentage of them continue to love and celebrate them after so many years. Elric and Brian are part of that small percentage. Their wide knowledge of cinema "pairs nicely" with their grounded and accepting approach to movies.
