Really excited for this podcast!!
This is a long review- sorry....A shout out first to Bob Ruff for recommending this, I immediately subscribed to it after I heard it on TruthandJustice podcast !! So far it's very interesting and I'm so excited to hear from very seasoned FBI agents with specific expertise in behavior analysis , I'm already really enjoying hearing Jim and Laura's expert opionions and thoughts on the Avery case, it's just tying it all together that much more! Very informative . My one complaint is Lisa, the 3rd host who has good questions, I just can't get over when Jim and Laura are talking she constantly is mumbling uh huh, yeah, oh, ahh, umm, uh huh... It's distracting on a podcast because we just want to hear what Jim or Laura are saying and not her unintelligible mumbles!! Please quit and let them talk please!!! But I feel Lisa says some of the things the audience may feel and she asks them the basic questions that the lay person may ask as well. I also agree with her that the backwoods, rural folks in this country do do a lot of killing of animals either for food via hunting, to get rid of nuisance animals on their properties that may harm their gardens or their other animals etc or for shooting practice etc, there are some things people do out in the country that other people in the city just wouldn't do . I don't agree with SA burning a cat to death but he was a dumb teenager and may have been showing off or been pressured to do it or he may just have gravely messed up, either way he admitted to doing it in court , took responsibility for doing it and did his time in prison for it ,so it really shouldn't be to much of an issue- it was something he did years and years ago! And SA running the "cops" wife off the road- well they fail to mention that was his cousin and she was doing and saying a lot of things to make him look bad, he didn't hurt her and again he was very young and stupid , so that shouldn't be as much of an issue either, they act like it was a woman he didn't know and just decided to try and take her out! Also a man having sex on his 40 acres of property way out in the boonies or wearing a towel when opening his door isn't so bad either, he's not use to seeing people out there in the country and he is allowed to do those things, it's not something we would do with a million people right next door to us in the city but out in the country people don't live like us, they are much more country like and this is not just true with SA but with many many country folks as well. So I wish they would have covered his life style a bit more and how he grew up mostly just around family and not many other people that may judge him like he should act a lot more conservatively because it's just not reality, he really doesn't have to act the way we may act. But Jim and Laura do have excellent points on many issues with this case, and if Lisa would just leave out her little extra noises when they talk I feel this is a podcast I will be glued to every week!! Good job guys!! Can't wait to hear more. But you are profilers and I wish you would just include that people living in rural areas do live a different lifestyle than a lot of the rest of us, because I don't feel Steven Averys teenage behaviors are much different than the million other folks living in an isolated rural area area. Thanks- I hope your reading your reviews Jim and clarify the points I've made 😀😀😀 thanks for the excellent podcast guys!!!Read full review »

There are some parts of this podcast I really like, but does anyone else see the problem? Every time this profiler guy gets into a place that does not fit his narrative, he defaults to his "remember this is just the documentary" position. I'm not surprised both profilers have a...Read full review »

Great perspective to hear from expert behavior analysts in Laura and Jim. Lisa, not sure what you add to the show but please don't distract the listeners with your "right, umms, yeahs".Read full review »

...and I've listened to quite a few! Intelligent, well researched, and articulate. Jim and Laura aren't lemmings whose objectivity has been tainted by the emotional bias with which this film has been crafted. It's so nice to hear experienced expert opinion as opposed to generic half...Read full review »
