“I started listening to this podcast the beginning of 2018, right after I completed my first whole 30. I loved listening to Dana and her experiences with whole 30, as well as the guests she had on the show. Now she has made the decision to not affiliate herself with whole 30 anymore. Which is totally fine, you do you. Whole 30 isn’t for everyone. But don’t bash the Whole 30 and make ridiculous generalizations that it doesn’t work for 99% of people and that it encourages eating disorders. Just because it didn’t work FOR YOU (even though she spent almost a year promoting it on her podcast?), doesn’t mean it hasn’t helped lots of other people. I was going to keep following her because it’s okay that she decided to not promote whole 30 anymore. But the way she went about it was too much. She was very unprofessional and childish with how she addressed this shift. She started her message saying “I’m not dissing the whole 30” but then spent 30 minutes criticizing it and stating that anyone who tries a whole 30 won’t be able to fix their relationship with food. Whole 30 has worked wonders for me, my friends, and family members. Unfollowing and unsubscribing.”
