Description
I'll never forget the day I brought my daughter home. I was super excited, super scared and really overwhelmed all at once. As the hours went by and the days started melding together, I struggled to get sleep, to feed her and to take care of myself. I felt so alone in the world and unsure of how to navigate this whole new season of my life. If I had only known then about Postapartum Doulas and all the support they can offer, things might have been different. That's why, even though I love teaching Childbirth and helping families prepare for the arrival of their baby, I am even more passionate and intentional about supporting Moms on the other side of birth. Quite often, once baby comes, Mom gets forgotten...and in a time when she really needs to be seen, heard and understood the most. That's why I am so excited for today's guest. She is a Postpartum Doula, a Mampreneur and Mama to a toddler. She has such incredible insight and tips. Whether you are expecting your first child or completely done having babies, there is something here for you. What we touch upon at the core is the universal lack of support we get as Moms and what we can do to change that. _____________________________________________________________________________ Episode 48: Navigating the Fourth Trimester: Insights from a Postpartum Doula with Tasha Cofer Having a new baby can be an exciting and joyous adventure, but there is still a measure of uncertainty and fear that comes along with a new addition.
