I love this podcast. I am a Body Therapist - working with energy, soft tissue, bones, nervous system, using touch and sound and awareness practices- a gardener, herbalist and I love learning about soil. It is all connected. My favorite thing about this podcast is John’s heart - it is so clear in...Read full review »

I’m no biologist, just an urban gardener that has a strong passion for growing nutrient dense food for myself and my community. I feel that our country’s agriculture system is not designed for well being of its people, but to put more money in the pockets of agricultural corporations. The...Read full review »

Wonderful! Important! BUT we need more interviews with women, BIPOC, and queer farmers. We need/must hear their perspectives and practices... we’ve got to think broader, bigger, better. If you are having a hard time finding them to interview, look harder. They are out there and necessary.

Kudos to host John K. and his support team for this content-rich work. Yes, the audio is not broadcast-standard quality, but I find the knowledge and spirit of these conversations more than balances the technical quirks. Bravo!

This is a great podcast, excellently handled by the host. But John seriously some of the sound quality is dreadful. I still wanna give 5 stars as your work is good and important but I’m sure you can do something with the sound quality even with Covid issues and remote interviews.

Top notch knowledge being discussed. Some of the science I wish had links to video explanations. Trying to bring regenerative ag small scale to my urban home garden. Soil around homes are depleted as well.

Got put onto this by a good friend. Such a riveting podcast, stirs up the pot of knowledge in ways you didn’t know it could be stirred. Absolutely fascinating and many “aha!” moments and moments pausing the write things down. Love to listen to this as I farm.
