Excellent (but please throw off diet culture)
Really appreciate the truthful, down-to-earth, spiritually empathetic and healthy information and tone of this podcast, but after listening to the purity culture episode, I have to say this: Please get informed about d i e t c u l t u r e. The church is waaay behind on this, and you’re unwittingly perpetuating it by saying things that burden the heart of women like me who struggle with eating disorders/disordered eating. 🍫Eating a chocolate bar 🍫 is 100% okay, and your women listeners ought not be implicitly shamed or guilted for doing so. Let’s try to throw off ALL the “filters of tradition and culture.” Thank you again for all the excellent content. I’m sharing it with my friends who also struggle with hard marriages❣️

Leslie has a lot of relationship wisdom & experience to share. She gives a Biblical view that counteracts the unhealthy, harmful “biblical” advice & teachings that are damaging women in destructive marriages.
