I love this podcast and so wish one day Richard and Judy would do a collaboration with American bookshop so we can easily get copies with their little bit extra in them. I would even subscribe to a monthly book club box from them if mailed to the USA.

While I like listening to this podcast I’ve realised that spoilers are sometimes given without warning. I had already read one particular book they covered when they gave something away they really shouldn’t have, fortunately the story wasn’t spoiled for me, but I’m now much more wary. If I think...Read full review »

The range of titles and authors are guaranteed to inspire one to read books you never thought might interest and get you out of a reading rut. Thank you for your well chosen titles and the fascinating thoughts and insights of your authors....Read full review »

I was excited to listen to your episode with Laura Dave talking about her new book, The Last Thing He Told Me. However I was so disappointed after the episode revealed the most important part of the book.

Love listening to this podcast, so great to get ideas when you’re stuck on what to read next. Richard & Judy have always given great interviews and this doesn’t disappoint.

I stumbled across this podcast and absolutely love it! Two of my favorite authors immediately caught my interest and can’t wait for more! Though American, I am truly a devout Anglophile especially regarding topics of books.

I love your podcast and have always admired you both as presenters, the books are great and it is fantastic to hear the authors talk about the book and their thinking behind it. I have just read the latest Louise Candlish, The Other Passenger, it was fantastic. I am also reading Nikki French now...Read full review »

Love the Richard and Judy podcast but I listen to it to hear about the authors not to listen to Richard continually telling his own anecdotes. Please let the authors speak.

Love Richard & Judy in general, and the podcast is great, easy format, with interesting Authors. Their 10 year Anniversary for me marks 10 years of great recommendations , I’ve read most of the top books overall and have to agree they where are great reads.

Recently discovered the podcast and now can’t wait for each episode. Love the enthusiasm of Richard and Judy and this rubs off and make me think more about the book and enjoy the experience more. I also look forward to your next list of recommendations. Thank you for getting me back into books!

Great book review podcast with Richard and Judy. It really doesn’t get better than this. Their love of books really comes through and the author interviews are insightful and a pleasure to listen to.

All that music is soooo annoying! It really needs to go off when the author is reading at the very least. Please go back to your old format and theme tune 🙏

Now us the ideal time to catch up with episodes of the R&J Bookclub and collect new listeners but the back catalogue has disappeared. There’s plenty of other book review podcasts so I’ll be unsubscribing from this one and subscribing elsewhere. Whoever is in charge of marketing should be fired.

Where have the all the interviews with authors & Richard & Judy’s comments & reviews gone? There’s still a link on the website. Inconceivable that a podcast is offered with no back catalogue. And only two podcasts to listen to. Will unsubscribe if no more appear.

I just saw a few rather harsh reviews for this podcast. Not sure why! Simple format, author interviews, lots of interesting recommendations and ideas for what to read next. I do agree with a previous reviewer, however, that the music is highly irritating!

These seem to be merely an extended advert for the book selected for the club, rather than an attempt to find out about the author and the idea behind their work in any depth. It’s unsatisfying and feels lazy. I’d recommend Simon Mayo’s Books of the Year for a quality book podcast if you want...Read full review »

Good way to hunt down new authors but find format bit bland and boring
literacyloon via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/27/15
Nicely presented - not just a boring here is a book and this is what we think. Richard and Judy are legends in their own right and deal affectionately with the authors they feature about whom we learn a great deal in these podcasts.

This podcast is excellent for those of us who lead busy lives and can’t spend hours in a bookshop deciding on a new best read. I would recommend this podcast to anyone who loves a good book and wants to switch off into a story in the spare time without the hassle of finding 10 pages in the book...Read full review »

A good podcast for finding new authors and choosing summer reads. However, the audio quality of the podcast isn't always great and sometimes I've felt a little too much information has been shared - perhaps a plot spoiler warning would be useful. Enjoy the short interviews and readings...Read full review »
