“For some reason, great guests are the norm for this podcast. However Richard stomps all over their lines and stories with his 'look how much of a star I should be' shtick. Sorry Richard you stifle your guests way too much, pull your head in and let the actual stars talk...it may even make...”Read full review »

“This is my first review. I've had an iPhone for 5 years but have never been compelled to write one.
It's funny for its range of guests and apparent lack of preparation, bar the brief search on wiki/IMDB for a guests biography, a couple of 'emergency questions' and a stop-off at...”Read full review »

“Is it too much to ask that they might employ a sound engineer that has previous radio / podcast experience? The content that I can make out is good but the quality of the sound and recording is so poor that listening to it is both infuriating and painful. The audience laughter is louder than the...”Read full review »

“All Hail to the Mighty Richard, the true King of Edinburgh. If you can overlook King Richard's boyish good looks, & charming voice, you will find pure comedy mirth. King Richard is a altruistic, comedic genius, and that's why I love him so much.”Read full review »

“Hail Ming!
Richard, as always, makes our days with his intelligent, cutting and sometimes surreal quick wit. One of my faves.
Unfortunately these podcasts suffer from extremely low quality recording; a mismatched mic, bad pre-amps and no compression, which makes Richard's voice thinner,...”Read full review »

“Mostly entertaining, occasionally hilarious, rarely boring. Plus, it's free, so why do you need to read reviews? IDIOT. If you do nothing else, listen to Nick Helm's standup in episode 5, 45 mins in. I nearly died.”Read full review »

“Went to see a couple of his shows during this run, very relaxed and laid back but always funny, some of the guests werent maybe as big names as last year but thats not detracted. After going to see the Fosters Awards yesterday most of Richards shows were funnier than the award winners !”

“Some say that Richard Herring is to Edinburgh what Oscar Wilde is to Paris. They don't know what they're talking about. Richard Herring is not, unlike Wilde, dead. He also isn't buried in a Parisian church yard. Also, Wilde didn't give away so much free stuff as Herring and never...”Read full review »

“You've got maybe almost 50% women on this. Some of them are alright but you've been overzealous. This isn't a microchasm of society you know, it's a comedy.”Read full review »

“Compared to RHLSTP this is uninspiring. RH is ace as usual but the mediocre guests really deaden the comedy. A comedian interviewing another comedian is brilliant; RH interviewing people who (1) I haven't heard of and (2) lack personality just lacks something. Disappointed.”Read full review »

“Loved this! Richard Herring is reliably on funny form, and this is just a great podcast. Sometimes some shows are better than others depending on the guests, but the running jokes and so much more keep this podcast great. I would love to see him do 2012!”
