Not a regular podcast, horribly real, the way life is. Thank you for your effort on such a topic. Care for yourself.

I was astounded by the stats for both the babies dying and the road toll. I am in awe of the bravery of Kate and Sam - and all the others and I’ve known others myself. Mostly l loved hearing the things we can learn about death, dying, grief and Whanau from Maori. This was the best part, so human...Read full review »

Thank you for sharing your incredible experience. I cried, giggled and could feel your emotions of everything you went through. Going through grief myself (not loss of child but sibling), it gave me a little insight of how you handled your loss. Kate & Sam - all the best to you and your...Read full review »

Thank you for telling stories of these brave people. We have 3 healthy children who are now adults- but it doesn’t take away from the loss of 6 other babies. It was so hard to go on & I don’t know how we did carry on, but we did. I especially appreciated the discussion around how the losses...Read full review »

Thank you for sharing your inner most thoughts, feelings and experiences. So brave of you to do so. I laughed at the surprisingly light moments and cried my way through imagining your pain, terror and sorrow. This is so important and more stories need to be shared so we can all have a better...Read full review »

This is an incredible piece of journalism. Well done Suzy on exploring and uncovering this harrowing reality for too many families each year in NZ. I’ve listened to this all afternoon. I have cried and laughed and it has bought up many memories and feelings about my own baby I lost at 16 weeks. I am looking out the window to where he is buried and am pleased to remember him today. Thank you so much ❤️

Yet another in the depressing series of self indulgent emotional wallows from RadioNZ presenters who use their privileged soap boxes to whine about their tedious little lives. I’ve known a number of people who have suffered the tragedy of late miscarriage, still birth or sudden infant death....Read full review »

This is the most profound and moving podcast that I have ever listened to. Today as I walked into work at Wellington Hospital I thought of Wren. x

This is such a respectful podcast which addresses so many aspects of grief and from different points of view. A beautiful exploration of this experience, that sadly so many NZ families go through. I loved they way it zoomed in on the details of those banal and even funny moments that still happen even as your world is crashing around you. Quite rare and valuable to hear also the father’s perspective on...Read full review »
